Support WCS‘What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others’
The very generous donations made to the WCS Foundation every year allow the Foundation to enhance many aspects of the School. The Foundation funds bursaries to assist students who would otherwise be unable to attend the School, gives financial assistance where warranted in sport such as funding the Athletics School of Excellence, and is committed to financially assisting the College Board with its exciting capital projects, including upgrading the boarding houses. Apart from owning the hockey turf and land in Victoria Avenue in Whanganui, the Foundation runs a well-managed investment portfolio with those returns partially funding the above. Donations are partially spent each year and the rest continues to grow the capital fund to build a long term sustainable assistance programme to keep the School at the cutting edge of education in New Zealand.
